FAQ

Is this a subscription?

No. Every pack is a one-off purchase from the SurkisFabFiles shop on Etsy. There's no subscription and no membership.

What do I get when I buy?

Depends on the pack. The Kerf & Fit Calibration Kit has a metric set (11 DXF) and an imperial set (10 DXF) plus a README. The Fixture Table Top has a 100 mm grid zip and a 50 mm grid zip (36 DXF each: tops in four hole sizes plus sheet nests) plus a README. The tops are tops only: no legs, frame, accessories or build sheet. See file formats.

Will they work on my laser or plasma?

The files are clean 1:1 DXF drawn at nominal size, so your CAM applies kerf compensation as normal for laser or plasma. Cut the calibration kit first to choose the right offset version.

Metric or imperial?

Metric first, sized for Australian plate and sheet. The Kerf & Fit Calibration Kit also includes an imperial set drawn in inches, with a 5/8 in hole gauge. The fixture table tops are metric only.

Can I sell the parts I cut?

Yes. The licence lets you make and sell parts. You can't share or resell the files themselves.

Are any designs load-rated?

No. The designs are not structural, not load-rated and not lifting devices. Any future pack that mounts to a vehicle or carries load will come with guidance only.

Can I get a refund?

These are digital files, so I can't take returns. If a file is faulty, message me and I'll sort it. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If something doesn't fit, cut the calibration kit first.

When can I buy?

Now. The Kerf & Fit Calibration Kit and the Fixture Table Top are in the SurkisFabFiles shop on Etsy. A ute tray parts pack and fit-up jigs are coming soon.
